Trama:
Stan Ross, era una star del baseball conosciuto anche come \"Mr. 3000\", che è il numero delle battute andate a segno durante la sua carriera tanti anni fa. Oggi, dopo un accurato conteggio si scopre che gli mancano esattamente 3 battute per arrivare a 3000. Così Stan, ormai quasi vicino ai 50 anni, decide di riprendere a giocare per riaccaparrarsi il suo titolo di Mr. 3000.
